It seems that Telltale Games’ Game of Thrones will be set around the time of the fifth novel (A Dance with Dragons) in the A Song of Ice and Fire series and will feature House Forrester. [via Twitter]

The season pass for Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel has been announced. Four add-on packs are promised at a price of $29.99 (or $9.99 individually) and will encompass “new characters, challenges, missions, and experiences.” [More…]

If you’re a fan of statues and collector’s editions of games, the these statues coming with the collector’s and premium edition of The Order: 1886 may just appeal. A lot.

Bayonetta 2 has been dated for release in the US for the Wii U. The sequel (which packs in the original game too) will be available on 24 October.

A “Surprising New Study” (their words, not ours) on “How Video Games Impact Children” has found more positives than negatives in allowing children to play games every day. The study was conducted by Andrew K. Przybylski, Phd., with “2436 male and 2463 female young people, ranging in age from 10 to 15 years.” Read the article by Forbes here.

Announced alongside that was a standalone expansion called Saints Row 4: Gat out of Hell. As suggested, he game features Gat (and hacker Kinzie) and will be set in Hell with Satan as the main bad guy. Singleplayer and two player co-op will feature and the game will be out on 27 January at a price of $19.95 for PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One. [More…]

Naughty Dog has revealed the two new free maps coming to The Last of Us. A patch has also been released and addresses “many of the matchmaking issues taking place in Factions mode for The Last of Us Remastered.” The Maps for PS4 are around 291MB and 143MB on PS3.
