Gamer of the Week: GH0ST XVI

defaultA ghost that ain’t afraid of no ghosts? Not a surprise to be honest, but he is clearly afraid of zombies. We can’t understand why though… it’s not like we bite… all of the time.

Go ahead.  Introduce yourself.  Don’t be shy.

Hey whatsup guys, my name is Mitch Stroebel aka GH0ST XVI, I am 16 years old and my home base is in PE.

What’s you platform of choice?  Why?

Xbox 360, cause I love the community, all my friends are on it and of course MS founded Xbox, MS = Microsft, MS = Mitch Stroebel. Hehehe 😉

Can you remember the first time you ‘gamed’?

Yep was on the TV game of course, I believe it was either Tetris or Super Mario.

How long have you been gaming?

For fun = about 8 years now

Competitively = 1 year this month and I’ve been loving it so far.

When do you think you’ll stop gaming?

Probably never xD

Are you a serious gamer?  Or do you enjoy a laugh?

I’ve always been taking my gaming seriously, but I am always up for a couple of laughs.

Singleplayer or multiplayer?

Singleplayer was my passion until I recently joined the competitive scene, now I am Multiplayer all the way, just to make the people rage.

Is playing online important to you?

Yes definitely, it builds good communication skills and we can keep in touch with our friends.

Are you a member of a clan?  Who are they and why?

I am part of Sector 17 Gaming. We are based in PE but we have gamers all over SA and we are competing in Xbox, PC and PS3, and a couple of games on each platform. There’s about 70 members and they showed me what gaming really is: it’s not just a game, it’s a passion.

Favourite game currently?

My favourite game of all time has got to be Ghost Recon: Future Soldier.

Do you have any hobbies outside of gaming?  What?

Eating, Sleeping and watching movies (as you can tell I’m not an active or very fit person).

You’re stranded on a desert island and a genie grants you five items.  Name them:

A game: The Impossible game to keep me busy and raging

A CD: Forza Horizon the Complete Soundtrack, yes it exists

A movie or TV series: LOST to prepare me for what is to come

An organic life form: Yoda to show me the Force within

Something edible or drinkable: Juice, any kind as long as it’s Juice.

What’s the most embarrassing or worst game you’ve ever bought or received as a gift?

That would probably be Kung Fu Panda I got with my console – all I am gonna say after the first level I never played the game ever again.

If you were a game designer, describe your ultimate game design.

Shooter/RPG, post World War III, free roam online, so basically The Division.

The zombie apocalypse has happened.  You’re facing down a ravenous zombie horde (which may or may not include members of ZG in bikinis).  What weapons do you grab?

Since I don’t like close contact with zombies, sorry Dredd [We don’t like close contact with humans. Diseases. Ugh. – Undead Ed], that would be my trusty Sniper rifle, with dual wield pistols and a couple of ‘nades just in case.

In the aforementioned zombie apocalypse you humans are all toast.  Become a turncoat and assist the superior zombies or stay with the soon to be wiped out human resistance?

Since I always love an underdog I will fight till my last breath, or until I get tired then I will most probably join the Zombies.

Thanks for taking the time to answer our silly questions.  What game are you off to play now that you’re done?

Normally I would play Black Ops 2 but since I just got Diablo 3 I am gonna go play that. Cheers guys 🙂
