FIFA 16 Tournament | Trenchtown 28 May 2016

May 2016_FIFA_01

**UPDATE**

Please note that we will be capping pre-registrations per platform to 48 players. If you are not pre-registered, you could try for a walk-in on the day, provided there are no shows and the limit of 48 players per platform is not exceeded.

Currently, there are more available spots in the Xbox One leg, and PS4 players are welcome to compete there if they are comfortable with the controller.

We will also be closing pre-registrations at 4pm on Friday 27 May. As per the above, walk-ins will be accepted as long as the player cap is not exceeded.

Thank you for the support.

**END OF UPDATE**

For some it may seem like a while since we’ve hosted a FIFA tournament, and while you’re only partly right, it has been a while longer since we’ve hosted one at Trenchtown in Observatory, Cape Town, so it was only right that we head back there again.

This is a 1v1 event played over both Xbox One and PS4. Players will play on their preferred platform until the the top players per platform face each other in a home/away bracket.

To coincide with the FIFA 16 tournament, there will be a number of vendors selling their wares – many of them are regulars at the geek expos and conventions around Cape Town, but the great thing this time is that you don’t have to pay an entry fee to shop from them.

However, entry fee for the tournament R50 per player with cash prizes and more up for grabs.

Pre-registrations are now open. Please note that we may enforce the right to limit entries.

All necessary equipment to play in this tournament will be supplied, but should you wish to use your own controller, you may do so. In fact, we will now actively encourage this for future tournaments.

Zombiegamer operates a ‘fair play’ policy. No cheating, abusive language (or abusive actions to anyone at all) and activity deemed unacceptable to an enjoyable, but competitive tournament, will be tolerated. The Admin or Referees decision is final. Anyone who acts in a way not deemed in good spirit or clearly breaking policies will be immediately disqualified from the tournament. The player identification holders and lanyards are the property of Zombiegamer and are to be returned at the end of player participation in the event. Additional terms and conditions will be made available on www.zombiegamer.co.za. By signing this you are agreeing to these terms and conditions.

Please note that we will no longer delay the start of events indefinitely. Should you not arrive on time and have not pre-registered, you can not participate. Should you pre-register and arrive late for your scheduled match (attempts to accommodate will be made) your opponent will be issued with a default win. Should that be in the loser’s bracket, you will be eliminated.
