Energy eSports | New MGO Launches Hoping to Take Local Gaming to Next Level

New local multi-gaming organisation, Energy eSports has announced its arrival on the local scene.

Energy eSports includes some known gaming managers and industry leaders such as Matt ‘fluKe’ Merks (owner of PolarfluKe), Rob ‘GrIdL0cK’ Clegg (ex-Pantheon Gaming founder) and Kas ‘CAWA’ Ahmad (Monster Energy gaming team founder and leader).

Energy eSports aim to takeSouth African gaming to the “next level,” claims the official blurb, with a number of “top teams” to compete in games such as Call of Duty: Black Ops 2, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive and DotA2.

Energy eSports’ primary sponsors are Megarom’s SteelSeries and Monster Energy.

Energy eSports launches as a South African multi-gaming organisation (MGO)

Johannesburg, South Africa November 29, 2012.

Energy eSports is proud to announce that it has launched a multi-gaming organisation consisting of teams to compete in various games such as Call of Duty: Black Ops 2, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive and Defence of the Ancients 2 (DotA2).

Included in the team are known gaming managers and industry leaders such as Matt ‘fluKe’ Merks (owner of PolarfluKe), Rob ‘GrIdL0cK’ Clegg (ex-Pantheon Gaming founder) and Kas ‘CAWA’ Ahmad (Monster Energy gaming team founder and leader). Energy eSports plan to take South African gaming to the next level with the inclusion of a number of top teams in their various fields.

Energy eSports welcomes the Monster Energy gaming teams from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, Energy and KHAOS (first and third place at the 2012 Do Gaming Championships) who will be branching out into Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 for the 2013 season. The DotA 2 team will feature the team LEGS (winners of the MWEB Inaugural DotA 2 Cup and third place in the DGL DotA 2 SteelSeries Spring League) under the Energy eSports banner as well as the CS:GO team, c7e, who won the DGL Ready.Steady.GO! Cup.

Energy eSports would like to welcome its two primary sponsors for the time being, SteelSeries and Monster EnergySteelSeries will be providing Energy eSports with the gaming gear and peripherals to become the best while Monster Energy will be supporting the MGO in other ways that promote brand synergy and a favourable team image.
