EGE 2016 | Fighting Games Tournament Details

Let’s get the roundhouse kicks and uppercuts in with the EGE 2016 fighting titles now live for registrations.

This year the fighting will feature two titles in Street Fighter V and Mortal Kombat X. While each will feature a main tournament featuring a R10,000 cash prize pool, there will also be a few ‘King of the Hill’ tournaments for both, as well as a school’s tournament for Street Fighter V (details of this will follow later in the week).

The main tournaments will be played as double elimination events and currently have a player cap of 64 entrants per title. The entry requirement for players is that they are in possession of at least a weekend pass (R200 via Computicket) to compete in one title. Should you wish to compete in both (or any additional main tournament for that matter) , you will be required to pay an additional R100.

Participants must register via the form below by selecting their preferred title(s). Walk-ins will be allowed on the tournament days (subject to meeting the entry fee requirements), but to secure a spot it is recommended you register and purchase your weekend pass.

To make the tournaments happen over the weekend, the zombies will be working with Cape Town Showdown.
