The Electronics & Gaming Expo has announced the prize pools for almost all the eSports Arena tournaments. While Counter-Strike players and teams are competing for the chance to head off to Paris for the Electronic Sports World Cup, the other events can enjoy the money that is up for grabs at EGE 2016.

The prize pools for the various titles (with Dota2 still to be confirmed) is as follows:

  • Call of Duty Black Ops 3 (PS4): R46,000
  • FIFA 16 (Console): R11,500
  • Hearthstone (Multi-platform): R10,000
  • Halo 5 (Xbox One): R24,000
  • Mortal Kombat X (Console): R10,000
  • Street Fighter V (Console): R10,000
