E3: More games announced

It’s E3, you weren’t expecting nothing were you?

Square-Enix has announced Mindjack, an online shooter being developed by Japenese developer feelplus.  It is set in 2031 and you play a Mind Hacker who can control enemies by quite literally hacking into their mind.  In the meantime, other players can hack you and hack the game world.  Sounds a little twisted, but should be at the very least interesting.

Driver: San Francisco was officially announced by Ubisoft. In the game you will reprise the role of original protagonist John Tanner, except this time, he’s in a coma.  Cool it’s a hospital sim then…Unfortunately (or rather, fortunately) not, Driver: San Francisco takes place in his mind, “giving him otherworldly control over races – and far more power than he would have in the real world.”  There will be over 100 licensed cars in the final game and is pencilled for release this Christmas.

Ubisoft then announced that I Am Alive is still very much that.  Alive.  Other than a trailer, there was no real additional information.

Finally (for now at least), Tony Hawk: Shred was shown off by Activision to a “positive” reaction by journalists and apparently has a little “old school” feel to it.
