It is not uncommon for great videogame characters and stories to make their way to novels nowadays. The Hitman series has already made its way to print by Del Rey and now the second novel is in the works – Hitman Damnation.

Author, Raymond Benson will put the story to paper and we hear the novel will will release in North America in Summer 2012 and will also be available other countries. Since the press release was sent to us by Megarom, one would suspect it could make its way to our shores, or import away if need be. The world famous dj posted this Twittersphere in the early hours of the following morning, but later posted that he just wanted to see “how much management would freak out over it.” He even posted a pic on his Facebook Page to prove it.

“Sorry! didn’t lose the PS Vita! i just wanted to see how much management would freak out over it, trolololol. i’d never lose this thing, love it too much.  ”

DJ Deadmau5 is in possession of the yet-to-be-released Playstation handheld because his music is set to be featured on the Vita launch title Sound Shapes, which probably entitles him to the gift.

My PR skeptical mind reminds me of the unreleased iPhone 4 nabbed at a bar incident a while back.

It may never really happen, but at least we can pretend it might.  A pretty decent fan-made trailer for the Bioshock movie.

Due to my colleague at Zombiegamer having way too much coffee this morning and covering every last bit of gaming news that matters, I found myself digging around and picked up on a bizarre gamer’s love story. Shortlist entertainment online mag are reporting on one, Eric Smith who custom designed an engagement ring to propose to his girlfriend with.

Unfortunately she dumped him and being the avid gamer he is, he sold the ring on eBay and commissioned an artist to create a full scale suit of armor modeled after Master Chief from Halo.

To help in the pursuit of finding a new love interest, personally, I would have suggested a Baird from Gears of War makeover… but everyone to themselves I suppose.

It’s supposed to be Spring in Cape Town.  Why the hell is it raining?  Surely, that won’t dampen the bloodlust of the baying zombie horde?

Nope – hasn’t dampened the horde’s lust for mayhem at all.  But it probably helps that the sun has come out.

This is the second year of what will hopefully be a continued annual zombie walk in Cape Town, South Africa.  Last year was a good start with a good turnout, and this year proved to be bigger, better and, well, less brainier…
