Fantasy Flight Games – producers of “cult classic” boardgames such as Arkham Horror and Twiligh Imperium – have announced the Gears of War boardgame which they say will bring a “fresh, bloody” title to their catalogue.

Activision sent out an Executive to address the media on Activision’s publishing path and highlighted some of their important upcoming titles. Two of the publishing giant’s most important upcoming titles are Cabela’s Dangerous Hunts 2011 and a new IP based on our favourite dragon , Spyro in Skylanders Spyro’s Adventures.
Brink TV is going online on May 10. Described as ‘the definitive resource for live broadcasting of Splash Damage’s Brink’, Brink TV has been founded with the promise to appeal to both casual and hardcore FPS gamers. It will showcase top teams, games, and leagues within the Brink competitive community, but also feature insightful and entertaining commentary, analysis, and play-by-play that will be relevant to both the seasoned veteran and the casual gamer. BioWare and FUNimation Entertainment have penned an agreement to create an anime feature film adapted from one of the video game industry’s most revered franchises, Mass Effect. Tokyo-based anime and international feature film production company T.O Entertainment, Inc. has signed on as a co-producer on the video.
Based on the Mass Effect universe, the anime video will tell the tale of an epic science fiction adventure set in a vast universe filled with dangerous alien life and mysterious, uncharted planets.
Casey Hudson of BioWare, executive producer of the Mass Effect series, will serve as executive producer on the film, along with FUNimation President and CEO Gen Fukunaga and Director of Original Entertainment Chris Moujaes and T.O Entertainment’s CEO Takeichi Honda and Yui Shibata.
Del Rey Books will publish a novel based on the Bethesda’s upcoming RAGE. The novel, also entitled “RAGE”, will be written by author and game writer Matt Costello and will release on August 30, 2011. The novel will be published simultaneously in the UK and British Commonwealth by Ebury Publishing, part of the Random House Group.

Slightly cryptic headline I know, but pretty simple really.
