South African games distributor Megarom today announced their move into the peripherals market with the launch of their Peripherals Division which will supply the Orb brand of peripherals for the Xbox 360, PS3, PSP, DS and Wii. The products will be available in stores from November and will include charging docks, rechargeable batteries and protector cases with more to follow.
The PES 2012 packshots have been revealed and come adorned with Real Madrid’s Cristiano Ronaldo. The game launches on multiple platforms from October 14.

Sony has made two relatively surprising announcements during their Gamescom 2011 keynote speech. And neither of them appeared to mention hacking. OK, they’re both much more interesting than that – the first is that effective immediately, the PS3 will have its price reduced. And the second is the announcement of a new, cheap PSP. Don’t expect either to mean much in South Africa for a while still.

EA has announced a new live service called EA Sports Football Club – which “connects players to the real-world game with fresh, new content all the time, enabling them to support their favourite club in new ways connected to real-world events, and connect and compete with friends, rivals and millions of other players around the world.”
Konami has outlined their ambitious plans for PES 2012 which will be released on Xbox 360, PS3, PC, Wii, PSP and PS2 in Autumn of this year and is set to have the exclusive use of the UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League licences.
