Bungie hires former MLG pro to work on Destiny

Glad to hear Bungie is so serious about the competitive side of things when it comes to Destiny.

Gamespot report that the studio has hired former MLG pro Bonnie “Xena” Burton to work on Destiny.

We assume she’s not a traditional developer, and it is not known what her role will be, so we assume it’s to possibly advise on the multiplayer front.

Burton is the real deal when it comes to pro gaming. She was MLG’s first female professional, and only 12 when she joined the pro leagues. She gained her spot through Halo: Combat Evolved and Halo 2 tournaments.

Destiny is scheduled to launch on September 9 for Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, and PlayStation 4.
