Borderlands 2 release date for Vita finally confirmed

The news comes courtesy of Sony’s John Koller, who announced the news at a California PlayStation event this week.

He announced a Vita Borderlands 2 bundle which will launch in the US spring, so hopefully the bundle or the standalone game will launch locally in Autumn.

The bundle includes the new model of Vita, Borderlands 2 and an 8GB memory card for $200.

Borderlands 2 will support cross-play and support four-player co-op and the bundle comes with six DLC packs, so it would be great if it does launch locally.

Here’s the new trailer previewing what the Vita’s future looks like…

We will contact Ster Kinekor to inquire about local availability of the bundle.
