Blades of Time is the spiritual successor to Gaijin Entertainment’s past title, X-Blades, which was relatively unheard of back in 2007. However, both Konami and the developers are promising new developments in the Hack n’ Slash or action genre, and the ‘Time Rewind’ rewind feature does sound interesting.
‘Time Rewind’ allows the player turns back time which has been done before, but it also produces a clone that replicates the last actions Ayumi (the sexy protagonist) made. This ability is supposed to be a key feature in solving puzzles and tackling down hordes of enemies.
So you can decide for yourself if it does look like it could be fun with the launch trailer…
