BioShock Film “On Hold” and Loses Second Director

The BioShock film lost its first director, Gore Verbinski back in 2010 who was succeeded by Juan Carlos Fresnadillo. MCV now report that Fresnadillo has now also quit the project.

“To be honest, by now, I’m completely out of that, and developing other stuff,” explained Fresnadillo.

“Right now it’s on hold. The studio and the videogame company, they have to reach some kind of agreement about the budget and the rating.”

The film that has been in existence since 2008 but pre-production has not moved forward since 2009.
