A patch might be a little useless against the exodus of players that the multiplayer side of BioShock 2 has experienced, but, better late than never I suppose.
The patch itself will be released on August 3rd and the finalised patch notes over at Cult of Rapture show a fairly big list of bugs and crashes that will be zapped.
- Signing out of active gamer profile, then back in, then accepting an invite no longer results in a crash/hang
- Rebirth no longer has potential to reset total ADAM
- Game no longer crashes when DLC is transferred to USB thumb drive and removed before gameplay
- Opening Xbox LIVE Marketplace from Main Menu works every time
- Sound System now supports sounds in DLC packages
- DLC Menu supports Protector Trials menu features
- Support for adding more subtitles in DLC without using more memory
