Battlefield 4 ‘Rent-a-Server’ now available for all consoles except Xbox One

Battlefield 4 players can now rent servers on all consoles except the Xbox One.

The Rent-A-Server program allows users to set up their own private or public Battlefield 4 servers, as well as being able to make use of a range of customisation options.

Players can set their own player counts and customise map rotation with rented servers. Players can also create games tailored to their play style.

CVG report that DICE says the Xbox One version has been “temporarily removed” due to rental time issues.

“The servers which were already rented [on Xbox One] will still be available for play, but admins may not be able to access all the management features at this time. As soon as a fix is in place we will announce its availability,” says DICE.

The rental price is as follows:

1 day ($1.49)
7 days ($6.99)
30 days ($24.99)
90 days ($59.99)

DICE has also promised that the number of servers will increase in the future.
