The quite wonderful Mass Effect 2 continues to receive pretty decent after sales support. In this case some more DLC and, for the more intellectual among you, a sci-fi novel. The DLC, called Lair of the Shadow Broker, will see NPC from Mass Effect 2, but playable character from Mass Effect (1), Liara T’Soni return as a playable character. The…
This is essentially a paid for taster of the upcoming Dead Rising 2. What makes it a little unique, is that players will be able to carry over their level, Prestige Points, skills, alternate outfits and Combo Cards from Case Zero into the full game on release. This glorified demo will cost you 400 MS Points and won’t need the…
I’m not one to take some rumours and predictions too seriously – especially ones started by ‘expert analysts’. A certain Michael Pachter recently stated that “Activision should lead the charge in charging for online play on a game-by-game basis”. Of course, the internet didn’t worry about that comment at all and everyone went about business as usual – except it…
The next expansion pack for the quite popular Trials HD, ‘Big Thrills’, will be arriving towards the end of this year, and will contains 40 new levels and 10 levels created by fans. “Ever since we released the first Trials HD expansion, gamers have demanded more,” said Antti Ilvessuo, the game’s lead designer and creative director of RedLynx. “They email…
Not soon, but it’s in the works, according to Zombie. Blacklight: Tango Down might have only just been released on Xbox Live Arcade but they have already revealed that they’ll be working on a sequel, with larger maps and ‘controllable mech-like vehicles’ a few of the planned improvements. When will this land? Well, it’s currently pencilled in for release next…

It’s just Timeshift for a new generation isn’t it? Well, that’s what my first reaction was – before I played it. Then I warped time and finished it, and my opinion changed a little. Mainly because I thought Timeshift was average at best, but Singularity is, well, better. Not great. Not game of the year, but a decent FPS none-the-less which does attempt to add a slightly different angle on the time warp idea.
It’s AWOL, that’s for sure. Where? Out there…somewhere… Executive Producer Greg Goodrich gave an update on its status: “Unfortunately, we have experienced a delay with the beta on the Xbox 360,” explained Goodrich. “To the Xbox 360 community, we say thank you for your patience. We are working to fix the issues that have caused this delay. We are eager…
Are you a producer? How about a programmer? An artist maybe? Maybe you can make a mean cup of cofee? If you are (and can), you might be working on the next Halo title. Or unemployed. While Bungie is drinking coffee, playing basketball and maybe applying the finishing touches to Halo: Reach, Microsoft is already looking ahead. 343 Studios was…
