Assassin’s Creed 3 | ‘Join or Die’ and ‘Freedom’ Editions confirmed for SA

We have had confirmation from the local distributor of Assassin’s Creed 3 that South Africa will be getting the Join or Die edition and the Freedom Edition locally.

Sadly, the price of each edition is not yet confirmed.

We will keep you updated when we hear more.

I’ve been checking up on the pricing for the Freedom Edition every day for the last month. I’ll bury a Tomahawk in somebody’s scull if he/she tries to get in my way of getting the Freedom Edition.

Quick one to add. I see Takealot has confirmed the pricing for this thing., Finally.

I ordered mine. Xbox and PS3 is going for R902.

PC version is R721.

I’m not sure what other sites are selling it for,

  Thanks for the feedback. I’m sure that means the RRP on console is R999 and on PC R799, but still not confirmed by local distro.

    I’m sure we’ll start seeing the prices all over soon. Not that it matters much too me. I’ve paid for it. Now it is time for the agonising wait.

  i checked takealot but i cant find the Freedom Edition on pc? You maby know where i can pre-oder it?

    I just checked and didn’t see anything on Takealot or Kalahari. You can always try going to your local BT Games and see if they might be able to help you.
    
    Alternatively, you can e-mail Takealot regarding the product. They are very helpful and that’s why I like dealing with them. I know the PC version of the game got a slight delay, so that might influence it. I’m not an expert, so I don’t know how these things work.

    The PC version may not be available for pre-order yet due to the fact the version is only arriving after the console versions. Will try to find out from the SA distributor tho’.

      I just got an email from takealot that said they already sold out all the freedom editions for pc. Sad story If anyons finds out where i can still get one, please let me know!
