Alien Isolation sounds creepy and authentically ‘Alien’

Creative Assembly has released this new ‘The Sound of Alien Isolation’ trailer [thanks Xbox Bureau], which sounds not only authentic to its source, but like it was lifted straight from the horror classic!

The Creative Assembly has released a new Alien: Isolation developer diary video focused on the importance of sound in the upcoming survival horror game, from the iconic motion tracker to the orchestral score.

Alien Isolation stars movie series heroine Ellen Ripley’s daughter. Much like her mother’s first encounter with the hostile alien species, Amanda Ripley becomes stranded with a xenomorph stalking her at every turn.

Creative lead Al Hope previously stressed the importance of the sound in hope to create that survival-horror atmosphere, and while staying true to the classic Alien film.
