By the sounds of it, we can expect something out of the norm with the Xbox One exclusive bound Quantum Break, as the developers believe that in the vastly changing industry, “the bets are getting bigger and bigger” and therefore the studio is prepared to take risks in what they do.

Speaking with GamesInsustry Remedy CEO Matias Myllyrinne explained how he believes the industry is going through “tremendous change” and so the studio is prepared to take risks with Quantum Break.

“You need to take risks, we need to take risks. Both creatively and to do things differently to what we’ve done before,” Myllyrinne said.

“Doing things the way you’ve done them in the past you’ll stagnate and die.”

“And with Quantum Break, there’s a ton of new challenges that we’re getting our heads around. We’re out of pre-production and it feels like we’re in a good spot.”

Myllyrinne says them studio are willing to “do something very ambitious and hard rather than not,” as “life’s too short.”

Here’s the last trailer from E3

Quantum Break will launch exclusively for Xbox One in 2014.
