imageThe Metal Gear Solid series was once a Playstation exclusive series, and according to the sales figures, it’s the Playstation gamers that still prefer the series, so to speak.

Eurogamer are citing Konami’s financial reports which reveals that Metal Gear Solid 5: Ground Zeroes, which released in March, sold three times more copies for Sony’s new-gen console.

The publisher’s latest financial report shows that PS4 games accounted for 12 per cent of Konami’s total software sales, while the Xbox One accounted for four per cent.

Eurogamer note that the higher figures achieved by the PS4 shouldn’t be that big a surprise as Digital Foundry found deemed it the superior version of the game.
