Robert Bowling from Infinity Ward has confirmed via a Tweet, that 2500 Modern Warfare 2 pc gamers playing the PC version have been banned over the weekend for cheating.
The tweet read “Top men are on it. In fact, the Steam ban hammer is coming down on about 2,500 confirmed MW2 cheaters on PC today.” This tweet was in response to a toncijukic who said, “@fourzerotwo Robert, you should really try to take care of cheaters in MW2. It’s getting ridiculous: http://ow.ly/Gbyn
In case you are wondering what the ‘cheating’ included. It was anyone playing Modern Warfare 2 on PC with hacks or cheats… I could have told you that was a bad idea.
